6th salary payment after Visa expiry date

Post by Danyal786 » Mon Apr 23, 2018 6:16 am

Hi

I hope someone can advise:

Hoping to apply for ILR

Current visa expiry date: Monday 2nd July 2018

Started current job: 1st Jan 2018

I get paid monthly with wage slips generated final day of every month.

However, salary doesn't clear my account until a couple of days later and at least on one occasion didn't show on my statement until the 5th of the following month.

I will have been in employment 6 months and will have 6 wage slips (can collect the final one from accountant directly)

I will have 5 bank statements

Feb (showing Jan salary)
March (showing Feb salary)
April (showing March salary)
May (showing April salary)
June (showing May salary)

My problem is with the last salary payment/bank statement

If I arrange a premium service appointment for Monday 2nd July there is a possibility that the payment may have cleared and I can get a printed statement from the Bank stamped by the branch.

However it is also possible it may not clear and show on the day....

As for the postal route what would be the last date we can send an application by post in relation to expiry date of the current visa?

Is there a possibility of sending a missing document a few days after sending the main application?

Any advice much appreciated

when is your visa start date and your first entry into the UK?

You can apply earlier if your qualifying 5 years can also fulfilled, i.e. around 20 June, then all bank statement problem solved.

Why do you need 6 bank statements to show 6 salary in? ILR requirement for Tier 2 is latest salary slip with a latest bank statement. Means one salary slip and one bank statement is the requirement.

The OP is likely on a spouse visa and NOT tier 2 and would therefore require 6 months payslips and corresponding bank statements.
