Post by Pat84 » Thu Apr 26, 2018 2:16 pm

Please if someone is an overstayer in the Uk for 9 years and have a one year old child with British passport, can they apply for discretionary leave to remain(DLR)?,what documents do they need and does the person stand any chance of being granted DLR? Please anybody with any ideas or suggestions on what they should do

You seem to be asking very different questions for different people? Or is the DLR question for the same person you refer to in the link below??

Suggest ask the people to register on the forum and ask their own questions.

There is no longer a DLR category.

If the overstayer is in a relationship with an EU citizen, how long have they been together and living together?

What is the overstayers full immigration history?

He has been in a relationship with the EU citizen since March 2016.and they’ve been living together from July 2016 uptill now. They had a baby in February 2017.He came over here with a student visa in April 2008 and his visa expired in June 2009.,he didn’t renew the visa and since then he has been an overstayer.

Tagging your own question onto the end of another member's thread is not only unfair but also causes confusion. Please continue in your own topic, where I advised on this in March 2018. Nothing has changed. :!:
