Spouse Visa English Language Requirements

Dear All,

I hope you'll be fine.

I am going to apply for my spouse visa soon and I wanted to know that which way is beneficial to meet the language requirements; ielts or UK Naric Red Route ?

I've seen some posts on this page that HO has rejected UK Naric certificates, I am slightly confused now because It's worth getting the UK Naric Red Route certificate which can also be beneficial in future extensions.

So would you be able to suggest that UK Naric Red Route certificates can be accepted by HO or is it good to do the ielts ?

since the cost is same so I will recommend to do highest level of test which is B1 but from the HO approved list of test types and centres.
