When I spoke to UK NARIC team when I applied for my english, statement comparability via blue route (later changed it to red route - just before the assesment)mm123 wrote: ↑Sun May 06, 2018 7:19 pmHi all,
I am really confused about english requirement for tier 2. I do have NARIC statement of comparability and english language assessment ordered via the blue route. But now I am planning to order another one via RED route as I dont want to take any chance. Any one who got visa by submitting Naric and not IELTS???
I would be really grateful if someone can help me in this.
Thanks
blue route assessment and certificates given by NARIC are suitable for academic applications, red is for VISA applications

degree or PhD
As I stated in my first reply post on this, both red and blue are good for Tier 2 Gen requirement. red is most appropriate, blue is also acceptable (as told by NARIC customer care, and will soon not acceptable - once they give official note)mm123 wrote: ↑Tue May 08, 2018 11:34 amHi Ashish
Thank you so much for your reply.
I have been doing a lot of reading about visa requirements, but I end up getting more confused.
Also, my blue naric says CEFR level C1. from my knowledge i suppose that is acceptable for tier 2 general .
I hope I am correct. could u please clear this as well !!
just in case, please check with NARIC customer care, close to the date of your application to be fully sure on this! we never when these subtle rules change and cause hindranceashishkm wrote: ↑Tue May 08, 2018 11:52 amAs I stated in my first reply post on this, both red and blue are good for Tier 2 Gen requirement. red is most appropriate, blue is also acceptable (as told by NARIC customer care, and will soon not acceptable - once they give official note)mm123 wrote: ↑Tue May 08, 2018 11:34 amHi Ashish

yes, better be safe - perhaps an additional cost of 120 GBP is a little pain!!mm123 wrote: ↑Tue May 08, 2018 12:01 pmThats the reason I am planning to get a new one under red route.ashishkm wrote: ↑Tue May 08, 2018 11:54 amjust in case, please check with NARIC customer care, close to the date of your application to be fully sure on this! we never when these subtle rules change and cause hindranceashishkm wrote: ↑Tue May 08, 2018 11:52 amAs I stated in my first reply post on this, both red and blue are good for Tier 2 Gen requirement. red is most appropriate, blue is also acceptable (as told by NARIC customer care, and will soon not acceptable - once they give official note)mm123 wrote: ↑Tue May 08, 2018 11:34 amHi Ashish

the reply from NARIC team was " Depending on your visa ELR may be enough but we reccommend you to contact the Home office for confirmation"

Thank you for your reply.CR001 wrote: ↑Tue May 08, 2018 11:41 amThe requirement states it must be taught in English and assessed AND comparable to a UK Bachelor. So you need ELA and Comparable assessment.

Hello,revathig wrote: ↑Tue May 08, 2018 1:42 pmHello,
Apart from Original degree what are the other documents required to be uploaded to NARIC?
If my Original degree certifcate contains statement saying that the medium of instruction is english, do I still have to submit a MOI letter?
Also, by transcripts are they referring to scanned images of xerox copies attested or scanned images of original mark sheets?
Please let me know
