FLR M enquiry

Post by Abdulhadi » Sun May 06, 2018 10:27 pm

Dear Members,

I have a query regarding FLR M financial requirements. I become British citizen last month, My wife and son came from Indian in Dec 2015 and i need to apply extension in August 2018 for both, my salary is 16,5K and claiming benefits on my name and in my account, housing benefits, child benefits, working tax credit, and child tax credit. my 2nd son born in UK had British passport last year in June.

My wife works 20 hours per week drawing salary £680 PM Part time in feb and march, she left the job end of march, i informed HMRC and housing council that my wife stopped working, from 1st of april am claiming benefits again.

1st of may 2018 my wife started working with same employer and same hours
Can I and wife ’s income be combined both salaries?

my employment was started in last year march continued till date.

do i need to do online application or paper form for my wife and son? is it seperate form for each?

Your advice is highly appreciated. My FLR M is about to expire in August 2018.

Best regards

Abdul

Even combining your salaries, you still don't appear to meet the financial requirement of £18,600pa.

You also need 6 consecutive months evidence of meeting the income requirement, which you won't have.

What route did you take to get ILR?

What is the exact visa your dependents are on?

If you don't meet the financial requirement of £22,400pa (for wife and son), you will have to apply on FLR(FP) 10 year Partner route.

You need 6 months evidence of both incomes showing £22,400pa (£11,200 for 6 months basically). It has to be 6 months consecutive.

Benefits do not count for the financial requirement.

Did you not realise you needed to meet all the same requirements for FLR(M) extension??

She also needs English A2 for an FLR(M) extension.

my earning for 6 months 8250 + 3400 = 11650 X 2 = 23300?

Please could you advice on filling FLR M form for wife & son, do i need seperate form for each or one for both?

My wife has got MCA Post graduate Degree & verified by UKNARIC Letter i guess she don't required A1 Test.

Thank you

One form for both of them together, wife as main applicant and son as dependent.

She needs UK NARIC ELA and comparable to UK Bachelor assessment, costs £150 (same as the A2 English test).
