FLR(FP) 10 years Partner Route

Post by arsh2015 » Mon May 07, 2018 1:04 am

Hi

Please help me with information regarding this route.
I came to UK in Nov 2014 as a PBS dependant and successfull extended visa last year.

I want to apply FLR(fp) 10 years partner route in Jan 2019. My husband is applying for ILR based on 10 years long residency SET(LR) Same Day service.

My son was born in UK and will apply for FLR(FP)with me on this route.

We dont meet financial requirements with the reason being I’m house wife and my Husband earns around 17k per annum. Otherwise we could apply for FLR(m).

My Queries are;

1) Can we apply together with my husband on Sameday service in Jan 2019.
2) Is this route straightforward like FLR(M).
3) what are the documents required.

Looking forward for your suggestions

Thank you

U can apply together there is no restriction but whether u get the visa on flr fp application or not is highly unlikely. U need to be very careful and precise about the expiry of the current visa and the time u apply.
When your husband's current leave expire and when he qualify for SET LR? When your visa is expiring?
2) Is this route straightforward like FLR(M).
Not at all. This route is most difficult to get as u r bypassing or avoiding flr m £18600 route.
3) what are the documents required.
Answer it later when u give answer to my 1st question. They r related to each other

Looking forward for your suggestions

Thank you

Thanks for your reply,

1) Our VISA is expiring End of Jan 2019 and my husband is eligible for Long Residence (10years) in first week of Jan 2019. His case is pretty straightforward and just worried about my visa

Your son can be registered as British once your spouse gets ILR. You don't need to apply for a visa for him.

Hi Dear CR001,

I’m aware of it but maybe we have to travel in Feb 2019 to India to attend a wedding of our close relative and it will take some time to get registered. Do you think we will be allowed to register him from India or it’s only from here.

Also please shed some light on my Flr(FP) application.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Best bit is first your husband apply for set lr same day as soon he qualifies for it. He can apply 28 days prior to completing the full 10 years. if he is completing 10 years let say 05/01/2019 he can apply from 28 days before that.

Once he gets his BRP card, U apply for Child MN1 and wait for MN1 acknowledgment than apply for your fl fp by post.

U can take a chance by apply in person flr fp. but chances r slim that they will give u decision same day. As i said before u r avoiding £18600 rule so don't think they grant u flr fp same day.

U still have 7 months left, so earn £18600 as an employee in last 6 months to get flr m visa straight away.

An application under FLR(FP) can take 12 months or more to process.

The FLR(FP) timeline thread will give you an idea of current decision times.
