Tier 2 Licence Suspended. Any advice

Post by Mads_86 » Wed May 09, 2018 10:16 am

Hi,

My husband is already in Uk on Tier 2 visa. But his sponsor's licence is suspended right now, though still not revoked.

I was supposed to file a dependent visa, so I wanted to know whether I can apply for same, and if applied will I get the dependent visa even if his sponsor's licence is suspended.

Please hoping for immediate and positive reply.
And anyother ways if possible for me to visit UK.

Thanks.

It definitely won't be good idea to apply Tier2 dependent as even your husband's visa is not secured now.

You can apply visiting visa, depends on your nationality, you may even not need a visa.

Yes, I can understand its not a good idea to apply for it now but just wanted to know if I'm legally eligible to apply or not..

You can apply, but it is possible that your application will be placed on hold until the license issue is resolved

Thanks for reply..

But is there any possibility that it would be granted, as my husband already has visa, and I am just the dependent.

Thanks

If the sponsor licence is revoked, your husbands visa will be curtailed to expire in 60 days, If your husband doesn't have a visa or is curtailed, you won't get a dependent visa. As has been advised, you should wait till the sponsor issue is resolved as your application will likely be held until that is finalised/decided.
