Reconsideration letter - RoR

Post by yolaine » Fri May 11, 2018 10:19 am

Hi,
I have applied for a retain right of residency after divorce. My application has been rejected because the decree absolute was on October 2017 and ex-husband stopped working in UK in May 2017 but went on working in France from June.
The refusal letter was signed on 26th January 2018 but I have received it on 23 March 2018.Because I have received my refusal letter 2 months after the decision, I have then decided to send the HO with new evidences based on the reasons of the refusal.
It's been almost 6 weeks and I have not received any letter from the HO .How long until they reply? anyone with a similar case?
It would be easier to know what to do if the HO has at least acknowledge my letter, but I know that they have received it because it was send with a special delivery signed envelope.
Thanks for any reply

Your ex should have been exercising treaty rights in the UK at the time of divorce decree absolute.

What new 'evidence' have you submitted?

What was the exact reason for refusal??

You ought to have appealed. There is no right to reconsideration.
