Tier 2 ICT, looking for options of extending beyond 5 years

Hi All,

My query is something below.
1) Have got my VISA (TIer 2 ICT Short term) in Aug'12 - Aug'13 (worked only 6 months came to UK in Feb'13) (6 months(
2) Tier 2 ICT (Long term) in Sept'13 - Sept'15 (2 Years)
3) Extended for 2 more years till Sept'17 (2 Years)
4) Extended for last 1 year - till Sept'18. (1 year)

So on a whole my stay Tier 2 (ICT Short + Long) is 5.6 yrs.
My question is should I need to go back in Sept'18 and have a cooling for 12 months and then re-apply for Tier 2 general (if I find a sponsor) or come again on Tier 2 ICT (long term)?
(or)
Is there an option to switch to Tier 2 General or extend Tier 2 ICT from here ?
