Ancestry visa questions...

Post by Rossimackintosh » Mon May 14, 2018 6:11 pm

Hi there. I hope you are well. I am ready to apply for my ancestral visa for the UK and have all my documents ready. The only question I have is Dino need the full amount of money in my bank account if my mother sponsors all my living expenses. She is a UK citizen, well paid job, and is willing to give me full sponsorship in order to cover the money that needs to be in my account. Would this be possible?

Also, would it be possible to claim through my grandmothers mother who was born in the UK - with the new double decent option.

Thank you in advance for any and all help

Double descent isn't applicable to ancestry visas. It must be your grandparent that is UK born.

You cannot be sponsored, you need to show funds yourself as far as I am aware and was told the same when I applied and my parents applied.
