Apply Family Settlement Visa during visit

Hi Guys

My wife is coming to UK on "standard visitor visa for Family Person" My question is that can i apply Family settlement visa for her during the 6 months visit stay in UK or this can be done only from home country?

Kind answers will be appreciated.

No she cannot switch to any other visa category while in the UK as a visitor. She must apply for a spouse settlement visa from her home country.
