Switch to tier 2 from tier 4 dependent visa

Post by snigdhamallik » Mon May 21, 2018 11:58 am

Hi, I am currently in UK since 2016 and have been working here as software engineer under tier 4 dependant visa's work permit. I am planning to apply for tier 2 visa. I have gone through various sources however couldn't find much information on some specific questions.
I would like to know more about the restricted COS and:
1. minimum salary requirement
2. skillset requirement

Any other general information on how to go about the process to apply for tier 2 would be useful too.

Many thanks!

You should speak to the company who is offering you sponsorship if you have one. You cannot apply for Tier 2 without a sponsor.

Salary must be at least £30k pa but it depends on what the SOC salary is.
