Eea PR REFUSAL due to no ex husband id

Hello everyone .
I am new to the group
I was married to an eu but divorced after over 5years of marriage.we had a daughter together that is 6 years old now.
I was refused by the OH due to d fact that I cannot produce his id but could provide other document before d final letter of divorce. But was given right to appeal. My lawyer has asked me to provide previous email sent to him asking for his id. He never responded to any of my mail even when it has to do with his daughter.
After reading some cases on here ..it makes me feel bad that we have to be refused with my 2 daughters not even thinking of d damaged he has already caused on us.He has left with another woman and he refused to get in touch...i have been in a very abusive marriage.. do I have to stay in this marriage and lost my life...
I am frustrated.pls I need help. I will appeal before 28/05/18
