FLR(M) - confusion

Post by gboade2003 » Wed May 23, 2018 12:06 pm

I am writing to enquire about visa extension for my daughter who is now 20 years of age. She has been in the country now for 14 years.

She was granted a visa under private life in 2013, and when I became a British citizen, she was granted dependant visa on the 5 year family rout along with her other siblings and mother, using (form flr m)

Her mother qualified for ILR under the 10 year route last year, and I have also applied for citizenship for her siblings. Her initial 2.5 year visa expired in April, before expiration, i submitted a further leave to remain application under FLR(m). The case worker called me yesterday to say i have applied under a wrong form and hw will hold the appilcation so that i can apply using the correct form. He does not know the form i need to apply with.

My question is, do I apply for further extension for my daughter using the flr FL to enable her complete the 2.5 year route to ILR., OR SET M form for IlR under the rule( A child over 18 may also be eligible, see section 23 of the guidance Notes).

Regards

What are the exact visas and duration of each she has had since 2013?

Did she originally apply on her own or as a dependent on her mothers application??
