Tier 2 Change of Employment Process ( Transfer Visa)

Post by manorana2009 » Fri May 25, 2018 5:12 pm

Hi Experts,

I am currently on Tier 2 (G) until July 2020. I am looking to change my job from one NHS trust to another. May I know what are supporting documents required for visa application and what is the process?

Also, can anyone know should I resign first before transfer the visa? and Do I have pay fee again( Visa fee + NHS etc.)

Thanks

Passport
Police registration certificate if you have one
BRP
Two passport photos

You should NOT resign until your new visa is granted. This is because once you resign, your current employer will inform the Home Office and your visa will be curtailed. Then if your visa application is refused, you will need to leave the country or apply again.

You will pay everything AGAIN!

Thanks

Your old (current) visa remains valid if a new application is refused, provided you are still employed by your current employer, which is why it is unwise to resign until you have your new visa.

Thanks, CR001 for your quick reply.

I understand I have to Pay to healthcare and Immigration Skills Charge needs to pay by the employer.

Does the old healthcare refund to me and Immigration Skills Charge refund to the employer? My old visa still valid until July 2020

Thanks
Manoj

No you will likely not get a refund of the IHS you have paid but you could ask for one and see.

You have to pay the fee again when you apply for a new visa to switch employers.

You an try requesting a refund of the previous one you paid after you get your new visa but there is no guarantee you will get one.
