Tier 2 Dependent extend visa as Sole trader

Hi,

I am on Tier 2 dependent visa and working as a freelancer with income 30k+. If my wife (main visa holder) could not find a job after finishing her current one, is it possible for me to extend the visa using my sole trader occupation?

Not a Tier 2 dependent visa no. Your visa is wholly dependent on your partner's visa status.
