Dependant switch ILR

Post by taruns » Tue May 29, 2018 11:53 am

Hi,

I am switching from Tier 2 to ILR via the 5 year work visa rule. My wife is currently on a dependant visa until June 2019 (linked to my current Tier 2 visa until June 2019).

Does she need to apply for any change in her visa status when I apply for my ILR?

Thanks,
Tarun.

No she does not. She can continue on her current visa and extend if necessary to qualify for ILR.
