tier 2 switching

Post by josephprem » Tue May 29, 2018 1:01 pm

Dear Friends,

I need advice from you all regarding my job.
I was on 35000GBP Per year job with one of the tier 2 sponsor. But after joining the job the company people told me to sign a document so that they can reduce my wages from 35000 GBP to 26000 GBP because of cost cut.they threatened me to sign the document or else they will cancel my visa but I signed the document.
But I just wanted to ask you I have received the job offer from NHS but they want to put me on soc code 2135 with a salary 28500 GBP per year.I just wanted to check is there any salary limit for the experienced with respect to NHS or it is same for all the jobs in order to qualify for tier 2 experienced.

Please help me on this question
Iam about to apply for the visa it is urgent.
one my friend said atleast 30000GBP is minimum salary requirement for the tier 2 experienced to qualify.

Awaiting for your feedback.
Kind Regards,
Joseph Prem DS

It must be £30k pa or the salary stated in the SOC, whichever is HIGHER.

NHS salary bands have nothing to do with the Tier 2 General rules, they are completely separate issues.

Dear Cr001,

I just wanted to confirm only thing from you that NHS informed me that there is a standby allowance for on call rota when I start the job which is 227 on the 4th week of every month which when calculated for over 12 months(13 weeks ) which is around 2950 GBP without tax.they said this can be added as extra money along with base salary 28746 GBP which comes to 2950 + 28746 =31696GBP gross per year. But I just wanted to ask you if they specify this extra money in the COS or if they a supportting letter to support this statement will it be ok for my visa approval.

Please update me on this
Kind Regards,
Joseph

Page 27 in the Tier 2 Policy Guidance, link below, states what allowances are considered and which are not.
