Hi Gurus,
I am under TIER 2 General visa. Recently I had to resign as my sponsor is not willing to renew my visa. My last date in the company is April 25th 2018 and my Visa is Valid till 15th August 2018.
I am processing Ireland Work permit now and I think it will take another 4 weeks to get it approved (Hopefully by the end of April). After that I need to apply for Irish Work Visa(from London) which will take another 4 weeks to process. (by End of May). I am currently working and living in Northern Ireland.
My question here is, Till what date I am allowed to stay in UK after my employer informs immigration about my sponsorship end date (as April 25th). I think I can stay here for another 60 days from April 25th. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks,
MM.

You can stay for as long as your visa is valid. A curtailment letter takes a few months to get sent out and if at that time you have less than 60 days left on your visa, you won't get one anyway.
Just remember that you are not permitted to do any work once you leave your sponsoring employer.

Does it means the immigration team will have my information regarding my situtaion? Usually when will the employers inform UKBA regarding sponsorship changes?

You seem to be traveling before your last date of employment. Your employer can only notify HO after you have left your job .

Hi Gurus,
I am came to UK on tier 2 general in 2015 August and I left my company on April 25th 2018 as they were not willing to renew my visa (visa valid till August 15th 2018). I am looking for TIER 2 sponsorer. Hopefully I would be able to get one before July end 2018. I am planning to apply for tier2 general mid of July 2018. My question here is Am I eligible for ILR? If I take the 60 days rule, my last date to apply for TIER 2 would be June 25th 2018. But i heard that the rule is not in place from January 2018. Is that true? Am I eligible for ILR? Please confirm.
Regards,
MM.

If you are referring to the '60 days employment gap' rule, then no, it has been removed so no longer relevant.
This is separate to the 60 days curtailment.

Yes I was referring to 60 days employment gap. If that has been removed, then I will be eligible for ILR in August 2020 right?

If you meet the ILR requirements, yes.
You will however have to keep track of any rules changes HO makes (if any), like the change in absences earlier this year.
