Tier-2 Sponsorship Licence Suspended

Hi All,

I am very new to the board.

Current Situation:
I am working with my current employer on General Tier-2 visa (3 years) since March 2016 as a Electronics Engineer. My employer has received the letter (30th April) form Home Office saying your sponsorship licence is being suspended and employer has 20 working days to respond that letter.

Kindly advise me on the following:
1. What if I resign my current job?
2. How many days do I have to find new job?
3. How long my dependent can work in UK legally?
4. How long I can work with my current employer?
5. If I resign my current job then employer need to notify Home Office the day I gave notice or at the end of notice period (3 months) ?

Please help!

1. Then you resign and your visa will likely be curtailed.

2. There is no 'minimum days' you have. It also depends if your visa has been curtailed to 60 days or not.

3. For as long as you. Their visas are dependent on you holding a valid Tier 2 general visa.

4. As long as you like. Their licence has not be revoked yet.

5. They notify HO after your last day of work.

Thanks CR001 for replying my doubts above.

1. After cancellation of certificate of sponsorship can I continue to work with current employer? If yes, then how long ?

2. Can I work with my current employer during visa curtailedment period (60 days) if the current employer licence is being revoked ?

3. Can my dependent work during the visa curtailedment period (60 days) ?

4. Which is the most suitable way to borrow maximum time from Home Office inroder to fine a new employer ?

5. If the new employer have COS do they need to do LMT again if they want to hire me ?

Please help...

You are not understanding the processes.
1. After cancellation of certificate of sponsorship can I continue to work with current employer? If yes, then how long ?

If your sponsors licence is revoked, you technically are no longer a sponsored visa holder and your visa will be curtailed.
2. Can I work with my current employer during visa curtailedment period (60 days) if the current employer licence is being revoked ?
Possibly, but see #1 above.
2. Can my dependent work during the visa curtailedment period (60 days) ?
Yes.
3. Which is the most suitable way to borrow maximum time from Home Office inroder to fine a new employer ?
Start looking now for a new job and sponsor!!! There is no 'trick' to 'borrow time'.
4. If the new employer have COS do they need to do LMT again if they wnat to hire me ?
Yes, if your job is NOT on the shortage occupation list.

1. Is sponsorship licence revokation letter and letter of curtailment (60 days for employee) sent on the same day ?

2. If the employer received the revokation letter before employee receive the letter of curtailment (60 days), can employee still work with the current employer ?

1. Probably not. I don't work for HO so don't know.

2. I don't know. You can't work for a sponsor who does not have a licence to sponsor you.
