English Requirement - ESOL Accepted or Not

Post by Ilcsike84 » Wed Jun 06, 2018 8:44 pm

Hi There,

I am so confused whether my English certificate is acceptable for naturalisaton or I need to do another test.
I have got a Cambridge English Level 1 certificate in ESOL International which equivalent the level of Council of Europe Level B2 also this complies to CEFR Level 2 certificate I awarded it in 2016.

It was taken at the approved test centre.

Could anyone advise me?

Thanks.

Are you an EU citizen holding PR?

If yes, then no, your test is not valid as ESOL is no longer accepted since November 2015.

Such good news :(
I have done this FCE Cambridge English certificate to enrol a University in UK and sadly not good for naturalisation.
