ICT to T2 G Dependent English Requirement

Apologies, if this question has been asked/discussed before.

Q: My wife is in UK for last 2.5 years on ICT long term visa. I have a T2 General visa valid till 2020. She is planning to switch to T2G dependent. I understand she can get the visa within UK. My question is on English language qualification. Does she have to provide NARIC or IELTS certification to prove her english even though she has been working here for last 2.5 years.

If yes, which one would you suggest NARIC or IELTS?

I am not sure about first question...I think she don't need it (plz wait for others opinion too)

And for ur second question - I advise u get her certificates NARIC verified (i hope those degrees were taught in english) instead of preparing for IELTS

Tier 2 Dependents DO NOT have to meet the English requirement.

She can switch to dependent visa within the UK.
