Vignette for full length of leave issued instead of 30 day vignette

Post by TauseefKhan » Wed Jun 13, 2018 3:19 pm

Hi,

My wife has received a Vignette for her full length of leave instead of a 30-day vignette in Pakistan. The original application was made on Jan 2017 but the visa was refused and then Visa was issued on court orders on 01/06/2018.

Vignette issued date 01/06/2018
Vignette expiry date is 01/03/2021
I am a British citizen and our child is also in Pakistan (I am in the process of applying for his British passport).

My confusion is are they going to issue any BRP?
does she still need to travel within 30 days of issue date?

Kind Regards,
Tauseef Khan

Hopefully, someone realised that the vignette's 30 day limit was a really bad and unnecessary policy, undermining the Immigration rules.
