Hi all,

Quick question, excuse me if I’m being a bit silly.

Applying for a change in employer visa, job offered liscense gained along rlmt etc. Currently on tier 2 general until 2021

How do I actually apply? I’ve tried to online application link, “applying for tier 2 general, within the uk” and it’s saying it’s not possible.

I was under the understanding I wouldn’t have to travel back to Australia to do this!?

Sorry, licence gained by future employer COS issued... now onto the next step and needing guidance!

My understanding is that it is an extension with a new employer.

You must have current permission to enter or stay on a Tier 2 (General) visa.

You must also meet the following conditions:

you have the same job as when you were issued your previous permission to enter or stay in the UK
you’re still working for the employer who assigned your certificate of sponsorship
you’re still earning an ‘appropriate salary’ - read the guidance if you’re not sure''

This refers more that i can only apply to extend IF i am still in the same job? and Not that i am extending in my current role?

The cos assigned at current is tier 2 general - changes of employment - ISC exempt
