IP blocked

Post by Globe Trotter » Tue Jun 19, 2018 10:54 am

Dear moderators,
I use my mobile data to access the internet.
My IP address is 82.132.241.190
Recently my IP address has been banned.
I wrote to the administrator and it was released once but again it has been blocked.
It takes almost a month for the administrator to unblock it.
Can you please get my IP address unblocked permanently as I am unable to access the forum for no fault of mine.
(currently I am accessing this forum from a public computer).

Many thanks,
Globe Trotter

Are you with O2?? Or running off the O2 network??

If yes, many of us have this problem, myself included so can only use my mobile when connected to wifi.

That said, your IP is not even on the 'IP banned' list at all.

Many thanks for the quick revert.

Yes, I am with O2.

I am unable to access this forum as I keep getting this message 'Your IP has been permanently banned'.

If my IP is not on the banned list, then I do not understand how I keep getting this message.

Please can you tell me how to sort it out as I do not have a wi-fi and can only access the internet from my mobile data.

Many thanks.

We cannot control the spam filter in regards to the IPs. My O2 IP is also not on the banned list but I cannot access the forum on my mobile data.

The bulk of the spamming comes from vpn on the O2 network which is why there is this problem.

I am able to access this forum now.
I am not getting any 'IP banned' message.
Lets hope and pray that it stays this way.
Kindest regards.

Alternatively, you could download and use a VPN for access.

It has nothing to do with your network or anything. It happened with me as well many a times and I wrote to admins many times but no one bothered to reply

So the easy and quick solution is turn off phone on to airplane mode so that your data connection is stopped and your wifi is disconnected, and then turn it back on again

It will be all going

I am sure this valuable piece of advice will be a boon to many of us out here who face such problems.

And thanks a zillion for going out of your way to Save Our Souls.

Hats off to you!!
