Hi All,
Have found a new job and with that a new sponsor meaning another joyful Visa application
I sent this off for me and my son last night and paid the standard application fee.
However I have now realised that My son and I both need to travel in Early August.
Applied online so no physical documents with HO yet.
I worry that the application and our documents will not be back with us in time.
Am I able to 'upgrad'e to the premium or priority service and how would I do this. Do I just pay the difference?
Or have i lost that money and now need to start a new priority application?
Many thanks for any help
A

I don't believe you can 'upgrade' now as you have submitted already.

That is concerning as I do need to travel and will obviously need my passports to do so.
i am confused by the information provided on these two links which seem to suggest an upgrade is possible.

This link is from 2015 so not sure if still relevant. Even if it is, there is no guarantee you will be accepted and no guarantee of a quick turnaround.
If you read this form, you will see it is only for specific ILR applications and not for limited leave to remain ones.

I see that on the second link now but the first appears to still be valid,
only other option is to cancel last nights application and apply again from scratch for premium which means losing a lot of money

Having read other threads there appears to be some suggestions of applying for the premium service via the morning email and once you receive confirmation replying to tell them that you already have an application and providing them with the number

That is for ILR based on the list in the second link you posted.

I have just recieved an email back from the case management unit. An upgrade to the priority 10 day service is possible by paying the difference in fee (£477 per applicant). First though I need to secure one of the 60 slots released each day at 08:30am via the first link i provided.
This information will probably be of use to others in the future

Hi Jacob,
I’m in the same boat - what was the case Management you email? How do I get a hold of them? Did you manage to get your passports and visas approved within 10 working days?
Thanks

Hi Jacob,
May I know is it really possible to upgrade from standard TIER 2 application to priority TIER 2 application?
If this is so, then I will do the same. It has been already one month since I have applied. The long wait is really frustrating.
