Quick question - does anyone foresee a problem in my application if myself (applicant) and my sponsor (british citizen) have lived apart for 6 weeks? I know they allow up to 6 months apart, but just wondering if I'm getting stressed for nothing.
Long story short: we lived together in Canada for a year, sponsor moved back to the UK early September to look for jobs, and I moved to the UK on a Tier 5 Visa 6 weeks after that when my work contract was finished.
By the time we apply for FLRM (unmarried parters), we'll have been living together for over 2 years, have ample documents to prove it (from both countries), and can even glaze over the 6 week period with our documents if we really wanted to. (IE, Provide canadian documents until September, then switch to UK documents October onwards).
Do we need to specifically mention the living apart thing? Obviously they could put 2 and 2 together by looking at passport stamps, so is it worth getting worked up about this time spent apart?
Thanks in advance for any insight on this.
