Hi,
everything was delivered to Sheffield on the 26th April for Fiance visa.
All documents were returned to me by the end of May, so it was about 1 month time
I kept tracking the status, it was "awaiting for decision" all the time.
5th June, they emailed us to pay the NHS health surcharge, or otherwise our application will be withdrawn in 2 days. So we have to pay it for now, maybe will get refund later.
And I haven't heard anything from them afterwards.
I was wondering what's the meaning of the returned documents- were they just start looking at it, or have looked at them and a decision is going to be made very soon?
Because I can see they have looked over the documents, it was a mess when I receive them. Paying the surcharge is kind of supply more information step? If they didn't ask for anything else, I guess all documents were fine and that surcharge is only thing they need. That should means they have went over everything. But why it took so long to make the decision.
I suppose the process is very similar to the spouse visa. Could anybody can share how long do you wait for receiving you decision after the documents returned? It's been 8 weeks since I submitted the documents, 4 weeks received the returned document, and 3 weeks after paying the surcharge.
Thanks to all.
