No payment taken, no acknowledgement

Dear All

I submit an application for extension of stay, FLR (M), by special delivery to Home Office in Durham but after more than two weeks there is no payment taken and no letter received from the Home Office.

I have seen the timeline for FLR (m) applications here and generally the payment for postal applications has been taken within the first few days of receiving the application by the Home Office.

I have checked with the Royal Mail and the application has been received and signed.

Do I need to contact them or this is a normal situation. My only concern is my leave will expire on 27/06/2018 and I dont want to have an out of time application.

Its normal, it can take a couple of weeks.

You don't have an 'out of time' application as you have posted it prior to your visa expiry date.
