Not required.I do not plan to attach letter of introduction nor photos to prove relation. In both my previous appointments, I took them with me but were not required. Keen to hear other's experiences.
Why do you want to send correspondence for your child if l may ask. Is the child an applicant too?hotsthunk wrote: ↑Sun Jun 24, 2018 11:34 amCouple of questions:
1. We do not have correspondence proof for our child within 3 months of application. Since our daughter is only 9 months, the only correspondence proof we have is her GP registration letter, child benefit confirmation letter and a hospital appt letter. All dated more than 3 months ago. Would this be an issue?
Also, not sure what documents to attach to prove parental responsibility - would above docs suffice?
2. Not entirely what to fill out in section 3.9 - That my daughter would be without his father if the application wasn't approved? Bit lost on what to write here? Am inclined to leave this blank, don't feel the need to write a plea.
Look forward to hear other's experiences...
Child is not an applicant.Benedicta123 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 07, 2018 7:41 amWhy do you want to send correspondence for your child if l may ask. Is the child an applicant too?
If the child is British and is not applying with your wife you do not need all that, even her passport is not required.
I used the online application and it doesn't ask for all that evidence. Its a bit simple and straight foward. I sent only her birth certificate showing we are her parentshotsthunk wrote: ↑Sun Jul 08, 2018 4:06 pmChild is not an applicant.Benedicta123 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 07, 2018 7:41 amWhy do you want to send correspondence for your child if l may ask. 'Section 12 > Children' does not specifically state that it is not applicable for British children.
Since it states "If you have children under the age of 18 in the UK", I have included her documents as stated except the fact the correspondence is not within last 3 months.
Am I not correct in my assumption?
Has your experience been different?
