TB test for switching to FLR(M)

Post by souperphly » Mon Jun 25, 2018 12:28 am

Hi,

I have a quick question regarding TB tests. My partner came to the UK in March on a fiance (6 month) visa. We are now married and will apply to extend to FLR(M) in September. My partner is from Thailand and had to provide a TB certificate when he applied for his fiance visa. The TB certificate is valid for 6 months. My question is - when we apply to switch to a 2.5 year visa, does he need to provide another TB certificate? He has been living in the UK since March and will have been here for 6 months when we apply to switch to FLR(M). I can't seem to find a definite answer to this anywhere. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
