Flr(FP)10yr to Flr(M)2yr

Post by vexedtrip007 » Wed Jun 27, 2018 8:59 pm

Hi need advice on the following topic
i had been granted Flr(fp) in Jan 2013 and have hence renewed it I am due to complete 5yrs at the end of July 2018 im curently on the 10yrs route. since being grated this visa me and my spouse have been married for the past 3yrs and now have 2 children. I now have a decent fulltime job and my yearly income is about £21000pa and my wife too works part time and her ernings is about £6000pa. my question is do i qualify to apply for the 2yr FLR(m) route and is our payslips and bank statements enough as proof of income or do we need our contract letters also.
and if this is not the case is there any other altenate route i could follow in order to get my indefinate leave any quicker
Thanks!

There is no longer a 2 year route on FLR(M). It is a 5 year route, 2 x 2.5 year visas.

The rules changed in July 2012.

There is no quicker route.

so im guessing in my case then it doesnt matter if i stay on flr(Fp)or Flr(m) as i have already completed 5yrs and got another 5yrs left is that correct.
