Can anyone confirm what is the maintenance funds requirements for dependent visa as i have been in the UK more than 8yrs and my dependent is in Pakistan. Do i need to show just 630 for 90 days for her or do i need to show maintenance amount for myself as well. Kindly confirm.

I have different opinion on this. when you applied your visa your partner has to show his own maintenance as well because home office need to know how your partner will meet the cost of living in uk of both person dependent and main applicant. so his own cost of living should also be included.
I personally showed my own maintenance also when i applied my wife visa.

Correct me if i am wrong as yours knowledge is more and updated about it .
"Each dependant must have a certain amount of money available to them - this is in addition to the £945 you must have to support yoursel.

That statement is correct.
But it applies only when the dependant and PBS holder is applying together.

somain applicant does not need to maintain 945 for him/herslef while applying for his/her dependent if in Uk more than 12 months, exactly like the OP.
sorry i want to more clerify it coz i am in same situation as OP and i have put my own money aswell which is no more needed i guess?

I just applied in start of this month for my wife and successfully got Tier 1 Entrepreneur Parner (Dependenr Visa) visa in 10 working days.

All are saying right...it is £630 for dependent if you have been on entrepreneur visa for more than 12 months in uk.

But i have seen some cases wrongly examined by case worker where they accepted the dependent maintainance (£630) but they had refusal for not showing sponsor maintainance of (£945). And i believe may be case workwr decision was over turned in admin review.

In this regard, i shown my (£945) and dependent maintainace together total sum of £1700 plus.

I am still suggesting the maintain your own maintenance also. there are so many refusal on it. There are so many refusal already on it one or two AR refused also for not showing the maintenance funds of main applicants. You never know the HO. This maintenance guidance not pretty much clear on it. Big gray area there. My understanding still the same main applicant should also need to show his maintenance funds as well because Ho wants to how how the main applicant will look after and meet the cost of living of himself and the dependents.

I agree with you... i have seen refusals too. That is why i kept my maintainance too...its really big grey area in guideline.

Thanks for your response, I just maintained for my wife which is 630/- and I will go with it and let see because there is no point to maintain for yourself as you already got your visa now you are applying for one applicant so technically you should show maintenance for only applicant.

I would be grateful if you could share the list of documents as I am applying soon for my dependant.Thanks
