It hugely depends on which posts you are reading that I responded to, i.e. if December 2017 posts, then yes it WAS date of entry!!!as cr001 has advised its from the date of entry as a tier 2 dependant to calculating the 5 years continuous period
I just got my ILR application approved yesterday. I am Tier 2 Dependant, I applied it with counting from date of issue. Actually, I have read the content in Tier 2 Policy Guidance (Version 01/2018), on page 61, the PART 10: TIER 2 SETTLEMENT (INDEFINITE LEAVE TO REMAIN) APPLICATIONS
