Family VISA - Dependant absence from UK over one year

Hi,
My wife has a degree certificate taught in English. I have received an UK NARIC certificate confirming that it is equivalent to UK Bachelors degree and also the course meets English language requirement of CEFR level C1. I had no problem getting her visa when I initially applied for her dependant visa but I am applying for her extension now. Do this application still sufficient as a proof of her English knowledge? Do I need to renew this letter from UK NARIC again?

Hi All,

I am applying for extension of my wife's visa under dependant of a settled person route. My wife left to India when she was pregnant and returned back to UK with our child after 1 year 2 months absence from UK. I have doctor's certificate, medical bills explaining her reasons for absence over 1 year due to medical reasons.

Will this absence considered as a critical issue during processing of my wife's visa application? What else documents canI submit to substantiate the reasons for her absence?

There is no absence limit for spouse visa holders. You will need to submit proof of subsisting relationship and communication though.
