Citizenship - Good Character - Parking Tickets

Post by hamzababy » Tue Jun 12, 2018 8:25 pm

i am reading guidelines and it said i have to declare any fixed parking fines.

i had a few tickets ( wrong turn , parked on double yellow - display parking ticket expired ) - 2/3 over the last 5 years but i just paid them and dint keep any record of it ? the vehicle was always registered on my name , so tickets came on my name too. but i always paid them.

what should i do ? i dont have record now!!!

There is no fixed parking fines in the uk
Only fixed penelty notice(issued by police or council)
Penalty charge notice and
Parking tickets.
As you do not have any fixed penalty notice so you do not require to declare it.

yes i only had PCN's... so i wont be declaring them on my form, as any one could be driving my vehicle at the time but as owner i have to pay for them.

Hi,

Well time frame are different as every case is different. With online application you can print the bio-metric letter thr and then and can can bio-metric same day, you can pay online and you generally receive application confirmation email next day. Using Online plus JCAP allows you to apply passport at the same time.

With NCS you have to wait for bio-metric letter etc and you cant apply(most councils have stopped) the passport application at the same time.

Thanks

Your choice how you apply. It is not a difficult application if you meet all the requirements. You should however wait for your ILR BRP card before you apply for citizenship. You don't get the card at your in person appointment,,
