Entry clearance or change of employer switch within the UK?? There is a difference and as you don't state visa expiry dates......

The question I asked is if all your visa applications were made WITHIN the UK, i.e. not from home country!

If you meet all the requirements, you will qualify for ILR after 5 years from first visa, so in 2020.

Migrants under the Tier 2 (General) visa are no longer required to be continuously employed during their qualifying period in order to be eligible for settlement. If previously the allowed period of employment was no more than 60 days, now breaks will not have any impact on the application.

So, you should state what you are referring to. There was more than one rule change on 11th January for PBS migrants.

Hi before Jan 2018 if we apply for ILR and there is gap in employement more then 60 days.
Please consider below example

As Example Employement started on Jan 2013 and valid until Jan 2015, but was terminated in December 2013 and then got new employement after the curtailment was received in Feb 2014 which was given 60 days to sort the new application or leave by April 25th 2014.

The new employement stamping happen before April 25th 2014, which is more then 60 days from December 2013.

Now the person applies for ILR in December 2017 as per old rules he is precluded for ILR as there is gap in employement which is more then 60 days. Now he has visa until Feb 2018 will he able to get ILR after Jan 2018

I know what the rules are. If the gap has been removed the rules, why do you think it would still apply to you??

It does not say that it only applies to applicants after 11th January.
