can i ask to change the interview date

hi all,

I applied for unmarried partner visa on 1st April 2018 and also in the meantime give notice of marriage to the council, I received the COA with work on 29th may. i am expecting to receive the residence card any time soon as i checked the timeline on this forum where most of the people received their residence card within 3 months. But the big problem now arrives is that in response to the notice of marriage home office sent us the interview letter to be conducted on 9th July. so my question is can i extend the interview date as i am scared the interview can effect the unmarried partner visa application. :cry:
Can someone please help.

Is your partner an EU citizen and have you applied for an EEA EFM residence card??

she is from france and i applied for EEA EFM residence card.

so the interview is because of the reason you are getting married?!?! I do not think it will have an impact on your application as it is two different process!!
