Dependent visa extension after main applicant received ILR

Post by mallapum » Tue Jul 03, 2018 6:10 pm

Hi,

I have recently received ILR using Tier 2 (general ) 5 years route. My wife's dependent visa is valid until mid of July and planning to apply for her visa extension as soon as possible. She is staying with me in the UK since Nov-2016 on Tier 2 dependent visa

I have learned from this forum that her visa needs to be extended under PBS dependent category , just wondering if i can get help following queries

- Any inputs on what documents should be submitted along with PBS dependent application?
- She doesn't have enough funds in her account , but i have more than £3000 maintained in my account from last 90 days. Is it okay if i submit my bank statement?
- My daughter born in the UK received British passport after my ILR , do i need to mention this in my wife's visa extension?

I appreciate your valuable inputs

Thanks..

Maintenance funds, passport, brp, marriage cert (maybe), proof of last 2 years cohabitation, proof of IHS payment

Your statement is fine. Make sure it is for the full 90 days otherwise she risks refusal.
- My daughter born in the UK received British passport after my ILR , do i need to mention this in my wife's visa extension?
No.

Thank you for your inputs.. We are staying in a rented flat since nov-2016, Is latest tenancy agreement from 07-09-2017 to 06-09-2018 sufficient for cohabitation?
Do i need to send any of my documents like my passport or brp to support her application?

yes, my account has funds maintained (more than £3000) for more than 6 months. In addition to my bank statement do i need to send any additional documents? When filling the application , i was asked to tick following other documents
- statement from personal bank or building society accoutn
- documetns showing you have had at least £630 in cash savings for 90 consecutive days
- My daughter born in the UK received British passport after my ILR , do i need to mention this in my wife's visa extension?
No.

Hi

I'm in the same situation. I have received ILR recently through Tier2 general and I would like to apply for PBS dependent visa for my wife. But I'm unable to find the correct application form.

If you do not mind could you point me to a correct application form, please?

Thanks

Why are you tagging this questions onto other members topics when you have already been given advice with the link to use??

And when you tagged onto another topic and were provided with the same link again.
