Tax Credits and child benefits

Hi. i just have a question please. i have ILR status and my children are british. my wife is on spouse visa and due for settlement this October. my question is does is affect my wife application for claiming child tax credit and child benefit? the child benefit is on my name only and the child tax credit is both on our names.
