Second time application salary concern[Tier 2]

Post by ly9577 » Thu Jul 12, 2018 9:40 pm

Dear all,

I obtained my BA degree in Leeds in 2013 and worked for a food company as Business Development Manager for a 3-year contract term under Tier 2. My salary started at 22000.

After that, I continue my study and about to obtain a Master degree in Jan 2019.

I recently received an offer as recruitment officer from a language school, the salary starts at 26500. The school is happy to sponsor me.

I've heard UK immigration rules has some terms about minimum salary levels for new and experienced Tier 2 applicants. I wonder if I couldn't apply for a new Tier 2 visa with a low salary, or the restriction is only applied to experienced workers in the same/close business sector.

Thank you in advance.
