Date of Passport Application

Hi,

While looking at the time lines for BC applications, I noticed that many of the applicants have listed their Date of Passport Application immediately the date of online application for British citizenship.

Can someone explain how is that the passport application predates the approval letter? I have just applied online as an EU citizen and have not seen a mention of passport whatsoever.

If you apply online for citizenship and then use NDRS service at the council to submit, you can apply for citizenship and paper application for passport at the same time.

However if you applied online and posted your documents to HO yourself, then you will have to wait till your ceremony is completed before you can apply for a passport.
