Set O ILR online

Post by nasmc92 » Sun Jul 22, 2018 9:53 pm

Hello gurus please can you help and answer my questions

I am due for ILR Tier-2 General this September. I did ask one of the question in past but I cant seem to find my post

1. Visa issued 01-10-2013 while in the UK. I did start working 27-10-2013. So would I be counting my 5 years less 28days from 1st Oct or 27th Oct..
if I am considering 1st Oct then I am good for 5th Sep 2018 to apply my ILR (same day application)

2. Recently online application has been introduced which I did fill it online and found it more easier then paper application. So If I have to make a same day application would it be best to Use paper form or an online form

3. With online form: has any one experienced that what is the procedure. As PSC appointment have to be book in advance so online form needs submitting in advance even. In this case although I have not finished my 5 years so how can I submit an online form in advance.

4. If Online form is the best option then its best that I submit now and would I get an option to book appointment after that or I have to book an appointment separately. I just don’t want to get into that situation that an online application submission date will be before my 5 years and application becomes invalid. But applicant do have to submit in advance if its online as waiting until 5th September to finish my 5 years and then book an appointment. This would be somewhere in November then

5. On the online form: There is no section 5.2 that how much you pay the rent or mortgage for your home ? looks like not mandatory any more

6. On the online form: there is no section 7.14 to state any social, cultural ties with the country you have born ?

7. On the online form: there is no section 10.13 and 10.14 that where the last finger prints were taken for previous application ?

What I think that online application is designed to the information only best relevant to the application but then paper form still have those question

I would really appreciate if someone has recently used online ILR form and share the experience

Thanks in advance

That's why if you are going for PSC, i think paper form is better. Just in case you need to move your date, you can freely move the date. If go for online, you are bounded to submit your documents/ attend PSC within very short time frame. If anything happens, you cannot recover your application fee, because the HO retain all fees if you submit online but cancel the application.

Guys.. One of my friend got his ILR today using SET O online form (Booked the PEO appt 42 days in advance before his 28 days eligibility). three weeks back we were discussing here on "Date of application" when apply using SET O online form. Looks like its not an issue. Date you appear in PEO has been considered as application date and my friend has got ILR without any issues.

You can use either of the method and you shud be fine.

ILR form documents

Post by nasmc92 » Tue Jul 24, 2018 8:57 am

Hello All,

I have submitted my ILR SET 0 form online.

for the list of documents what proof we need to provide for below

AM i taking right. HO needs to know my right of stay in UK before Tier 2. So I was student from 2009 to 2013
Would I need to provide photocopy of my old BRP's

I suppose they would have that information on their system automatically

See exact context from SET O online form after submission and advise

""For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 2 migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules. For further information concerning the evidence required, please refer to the Tier 2 migrant policy guidance on our website""

If you are applying for ILR based on only Tier 2 general, then that all that you need to submit.

Nothing. The question is mainly for those combing PBS routes, i.e. Tier 1 and Tier 2.

I am applying Tier 2 PBS to ILR

this is not a question

actually this is a document they require at my appointment

this point is listed on my document list on my check list

it does mention that if you donot provide this document your application will be delayed or refused

the checklist has this clause

For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 2 migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules. For further information concerning the evidence required, please refer to the Tier 2 migrant policy guidance on our website
