Re-entering UK close to Tier 2 expiry

Hi ,

My current Tier 2 visa is due to expire on the 14th September 2018. I have a booked an appointment to renew my Visa on the 31st of August 2018.

However due to personal reason I have to go back to India for few weeks and head back around the 28th August 2018. I am a bit worried about the UK border agency preventing me from entering the UK nearer to my current Visa expiry date.

Will this be a problem? I can a get a letter from the company stating that on my return I will resume my work duties and is also renewing my visa on the 31st August 2018.

Legally I can enter the UK because I will have a valid visa but I am worried the clearance officer may reject my re entry because my current visa will expire in 3 weeks when I re enter the uk.

Any feedback on this issue will be greatly appreciated.

It is not an issue. You can enter any time as long a you have a valid visa.
