FLR (M) Document checklist

Post by Abdallah786 » Tue Jul 31, 2018 9:42 am

Hello all,

My wife has been in the UK for almost 2.5 years. She is now due to apply for her FLR (M) visa. We are thinking of applying by post. Can someone please advise if all the relevant documents are included or if there’s anything missing. I am a British citizen and we also have a child together.

List of documents:

1. FLR (M) Application (Version 07/18)
2. Certified copies of 6 Months bank statements
3. 6 months’ payslips
4. Printed copy of an e-P60 (2017-18)
5. Letter from employer
6. Original passport applicant
7. Original passport sponsor
8. Original passport child
9. Birth certificate child
10. A2.1 English language cert
11. Marriage certificate
12. 2 passport size photos applicant
13. 1 passport photo sponsor
14. 1 passport photo child
15. 10 items of correspondence each for applicant and sponsor
16. Letter from member regarding accommodation (to say number of rooms, who lives there and that we have exclusive use etc)
17. Proof of house ownership (internet land registry documents)
18. Copy of annual council tax statement for family member who the house belongs to (our names are not mentioned on statement)

I am not using any solicitor so was just wondering if there are any documents from the list that I need to certify etc.?

Regarding accommodation I am reading mixed reviews…is an inspection report necessary for clarifying any overcrowding issue or can HO office work out that overcrowding will not be an issue from reading the people currently living there (mentioned in the letter from family member).

Thank you. :D :D :D

Number 17 (photos) are NOT required for FLR M extensions applications.

Property inspection required? We supplied a property inspection report the first time she applied. This was returned to us with other documents. Although dated 2014, can I send this again? The information is exactly the same apart from now we have a child living also.

Just be careful !! It is as if you are applying for the first time !! I also saw that someone wrote that the photos are not required. My company agent has listed this as very important to show that the marriage is valid and ongoing. but maybe you are a different situation. This is because of the sham marriages in the past !! Previous users of Web link reference removed by moderator in their assessment say that no stone is left unturned and they do this everyday successfully !! They also work on a no visa no charge !! Finally they have their top expert check everything before we go and makes sure everything is in place. They fill the application form as well as it is very tricky !!

I have used them in the past and found them to be very thorough.

It is not a "tricky" application to make.

Photos of couples together are not required for extensions. This is what the proof of cohabitation is for to prove subsisting relationship.

Kindly also refrain from posting third party advisor names or links.
