Fiance Visa - Changing Jobs

Post by KristianDLloyd » Fri Aug 03, 2018 1:04 pm

Afternoon,

Hoping someone can help with some 'general' advice.

My partner and I are in the process of gathering our documents together to submit an application for a Fiance Visa. I have, however, thrown a spanner in the works in that I am likely to be offered a new job. One with better pay and prospects.

For the last 7 years, I have earned more than £24k. In the last year I have earned more than £30k and so I meet the financial threshold.

My concern is this - what impact will changing my job have, if any?

I have read that the only implication would be that I need to provide 12 months payslips instead of 6. Though I read elsewhere that I would need to meet the financial threshold through savings?

Any advice/guidance/clarification or nudges in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Yes you will need to attach 12 months payslips & bank statements under category B. 6 months old savings above £16000 can be used if there is a shortfall in meeting financial requirements.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
