Apply for T1 while holding Exempt visa

Hi,

My wife currently holding exempt visa ( diplomatic posting to uk ) and we’re planing to startup a bussiness here with Ltd Company, if my wife or me apply for T1 visa will we lose the exempt vignette? Thanks guys! Appreciate your help!

You can only switch within the UK if you hold a qualifying visa category. And yes, you would likely lose your current exempt status.
