28 day rule

Post by Nhbe2015 » Sun Aug 05, 2018 10:27 am

Hi all,

I submitted my online application and sent the supporting documents straight to Sheffield from London. My bank statements only go up to the 25th of each month and I got paid on the 31st July. Is it be a problem that I printed my statement from 25th July to 31st July after I submitted the online application and wrote a letter explaining this as my July statement doesn’t show my salary for July? I printed the statement 2 days after I submitted the online application not realising this isn’t within the 28 day rule.

HO won't acknowledge any additional documents after the submission of application. If your payslips & bank statements were not older than 28 days from the date of application while covering the previous 6 consecutive months with required finances then you shouldn't worry.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Thank you for your reply.
I’m just worried because my last payslip doesn’t show my salary paid into my account. I did include 7 months payslips but the first months pay was only half as I started my job half way though January. I’m applying through Cat A salaried employment.

Has anyone else been through this?
