FLR (FP) 10 year private life’s route

I got my visa in 2016. It was based on private life and fell under FLR(O) at that time.

It was dependent visa based on my partner and we got married after i submitted my application.

I was granted the leave to remain for 2.5 years followed up by 3 extensions making it a total of 10 years visa before I get the stay.

My extension is due in August and as I have looked up for the forms it says the FLR(O) has been archived/withdrawn.

I am not sure which form or type I am suppose to use for my extension. There are too many FLR options on GOV website.

I would really appreciate some help in this matter.

I got my visa in 2016 under FLR(O) application. My extension in due this year. According to the new rules FLR(O) does not exist anymore. I am married to a British citizen and I am not sure under which category am I suppose to extent my stay.

Do I simply make a new application under FLR(M)?

or Is there a simpler way to extend my stay as I was already given stay under FLR(O).

What supporting documents do I need to provide.

Especially under

''7.20 Could you and your partner live together outside of the UK if necessary? If not, tell us about
any obstacles to your family life with your partner continuing outside the UK. Please provide
reasons and evidence to support your claim.''

I made application through a legal adviser the first time and granted a 2.5 years stay. Its time to apply for extension and I would rather submit the application myself.

Any help would be really appreciated as I need to submit the application within a week.

To help me with my extension I visited my Solictor who initial done my first flr fp and I obtained a copy of the application and cover letter which was submitted initially and used that to make a base for my extension as I applied for the extension myself

Do they require all the documents submitted the first time??

I was issued the visa after court hearing.

Do you think I should attach the court letter with the application?

It explains all the reasons why I should stay here and can't live outside the UK.

Personal I would attach all the documents submitted the first time as well as up to date documents.

I would also enclose the letter from the courts

One more thing. Did you apply under FLR(O) the first time you got the visa?

Because my case went under FLR(O) under private life and outside the rules.

FLR(O) has been discontinued now and I can only see FLR(FP) giving the option of private life.

I believe your partner is a British citizen. Do you /partner earn over 18600 ? If yes then why not switch to flr m. Its less complicated and settlement is in 5 years.

Yes she is British citizen and I am earning more than 19k a year. I thought it would be easier to just apply for extension on the basis of private life FLR(FP) as I will be eligible to get ILR next year anyways.

I have booked Premium appointment for FLR(FP). If I go for FLR(M) do i need to change the appointment too?

I am basically submitting almost same document that are required for FLR(M).

I have been in UK for 9 years now and next year it will have been 10 years of me being legally in UK.

I came as a Student and been on FLR for 2.5 years. I have to either apply for an extension or simply switch to FLR(M). Which I wont get appointment for in this short time.

I entered UK in October 2009.
Good some extensions on TIER 4 basis. Dont remember all the dates on top of my head.

Then I applied for FLR(O) on the basis of private life. Which took about a year to get the visa.
Which was issues in February 2016.

I have not stayed abroad for more than a month during that time.
