Ict dependent

Post by Loori12 » Tue Aug 14, 2018 7:56 pm

Do ICT TIER 2 main applicants become eligible for ILR after 5 years if the ICT was issued in 2017 ?

THe dependents Of these ICT TIER 2 Visa holder is a PBS dependent . So are they eligible for ILR ? Or are they also not eligible since the new rule ?

Does it mean ICT and ICT Dependents are uneligibld for ILR ?

No.

No they are not. A PBS dependent cannot apply for ILR based on 5 years residency independently of a PBS main visa holder if they are holding a qualifying visa.

No not on 5 years ICT. The route of ICT qualifying for ILR was closed in April 2010.

Thank you for the reply . I have few other questions -I moved out of Uk in November 2017 after being there for 9 months on a ICT long term 2 years. My ICT is expiring in January 2019 .

1. Is there a minimum time I should have spent in Uk to apply for extension of ICT ?
2. When is the earliest I can’t apply for extension assuming I will be traveling back to Uk in September ?
3. Do I have to be in Uk a certain number of days before expiry for me to be eligible to apply for an extension ?
